The level of variety that this pack adds is pretty vast, but it does fail to live up to its name of being Creepy and Cute. Considering all the spiky spines, eyestalks and claws that have been made available, there is certainly a lot more "creepy" in this game pack than there is cute. Not to say that the devs at Maxis did not even try; there are some fluttering eyes (complete with batting eyelashes) and furry paws that will soften up a creature's overall look - which contributes to the 'cute' factor of the game. What makes this creepy is that you can combine these with fluttering eyestalks and large clawed paws - even the new model animations scare us a bit. At the end of the day, you will most likely end up with a bizarre creature that is able to perform the moonwalk or wiggle its hind side at you.
